This policy explains what Sunlit Reel (App Business Ventures LLC, Texas, USA) collects when you use sunlitreel.com, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

• Your photos, which you upload to make your video, and their file details (size, and the date the photo was taken if the file says so).
• The words for your video: the name, dates, saying and captions you type, and your music choices.
• Contact details: your email address, so we can send your draft, your video, receipts and support replies. We don't send newsletters.
• Payment: Stripe processes your payment. We receive the amount, the last 4 digits of the card and the country, never the full card number.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the page or ad that sent you to us (for example utm, gclid and fbclid tags), used to prevent fraud and abuse and to measure which ads work.

How we use it

Only to make and deliver your video, to support you, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to measure our own marketing. Your photos are private: we use them only to make your video. We never share them, never show them to anyone else, never use them as examples and never use them to train AI.

Who processes it

• Our own servers and storage, in the United States, where your video is made.
• Runware, an AI service that works for us under contract, receives only the damaged photos we repair for a paid video, and returns the repaired copy.
• Stripe (payments) and Amazon Web Services (email delivery).
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram), only if you accept ad cookies: see Cookies below.

We don't sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

• Photos for a paid video are deleted 30 days after the video is delivered (or 30 days after a refund).
• Photos and drafts you don't buy are deleted 14 days after your last change, together with the order's details.
• Your finished videos stay on your order page for download for 90 days, then they are deleted.
• Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
• Our database backups are kept for 30 days, so order details (never photos or videos) can stay in a backup copy for up to 30 more days.
• You can ask us to delete your photos, videos and data sooner: email support@sunlitreel.com from the address you used.

Cookies

We use a few first-party cookies to keep your order, count visits and remember which ad or link brought you here. If you accept ad cookies, we load the Meta pixel on public pages and send purchase events to Meta to measure our ads. Purchase events may include the amount, a hashed email address, advertising identifiers, IP address and browser information. We never send your photos, your words or your private order link. You can decline ad cookies in the cookie notice and the site works the same.

Children

Our site is for adults. Family photos may show children; we use them only for that family's video and delete them as described above.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or California law). Email support@sunlitreel.com. We answer within 30 days.
